If clubs wish to get new fruit machines, or change fruit machine configuration (for example, change game, change the number of bet lines or credits per line), clubs will need to seek approval from the Police Licensing Division.
For new machines, clubs must ensure that they comply with IRAS' machine requirements (90 KB).
When soft meters are required to be reset, replaced or when there is a machine movement*, clubs have to generate the soft meter printout before and after the reset, replacement or machine movement and maintain the printouts for 5 years.
* Machine movement will include addition, retirement and replacement of fruit machines.
