1.Notify IRAS of Changes to the Rent [For non e-Stamping cases]

You need to notify us within 15 days of the change in rental amount or lease payment for your let out property.

To notify IRAS, you can log in to myTax Portal  with your SingPass > e-Services for Property Tax > Notify lettings/ rental changes/ changes to the property .

The penalty for non-compliance of the above obligation is a fine of up to $5,000 and an interest on the tax amount at such rate as may be prescribed (if any).

However, if your tenancy agreement has been e-Stamped, you do not need to notify IRAS of the change in rental amount or lease payment.
