The Validation and Submission Application is a free AIS software provided by IRAS. It allows employers to validate and submit files (.txt or .xml) generated from a supporting payroll software to IRAS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Always connect to the internet when launching the AIS software. If there is an updated version, there will be a message to inform you on how to perform the auto-update. Do accept all updates.
Alternatively, you can re-download the software from the IRAS website.
Records submitted using the Validation and Submission Application cannot be retrieved at myTax Portal.
All records which you have prepared for submission are in your payroll software. Launch your payroll software to view the records. Do keep proper records of all submitted records.
Only staff or third party authorised with the 'Approver' role, by employers participating in the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) for employment income are able to submit the income information to IRAS via myTax Portal. You can complete the authorisation for e-Submission of Employment Income at e-Services Authorisation System (EASY). Find out more on the authorisation process here.

- The operating system you are using (e.g. Windows XP, Macintosh OS X Tiger)

- The error messages you encountered or the screenshot of the errors encountered (if available)
The Validation and Submission Application can validate and submit a maximum of 4 files at one time. If there are more than 4 files to be submitted, you have to close both the Validation and Submission Application and the Internet Explorer browser after submitting the first 4 files, and re-open the Validation and Submission Application to submit the remaining files.
No, details of the records submitted using the Validation and Submission Application will not be displayed at myTax Portal.
Only the submission date and time will be shown.
