Stamp duty

Submission

For registered user, you can carry out amendment of certain typographical errors (for examples, name of transferor or address fields) on the stamp certificate via the e-Stamping system.

For all other errors (for examples, the consideration and date of document), you will have to submit an e-application of amendment via the e-Stamping system.

Alternatively, you may complete a prescribed form and submit to us via one of the following ways:

By fax

By hand

By post

Processing your amendments

It will take 3 working days to process the amendment request.

It will take 7 working days to process the amendment request.

No charge is payable to process your request for an amendment on your certificate of stamp duty.

Please note that the above processing time is applicable to amendments that do not result in an additional amount payable.

Collection of your amended certificates

e-Stamping non-registered user/ form application

To print the amended certificate:

Proceed to the e-Stamping website

  • Click on “Utilities”
  • Click on “Certificate Reprint”
  • Key in the Document Reference Number to retrieve the amended certificate for printing

Amended certificate will be mailed to you via post.
