The information below will help you understand some tax essentials and fulfill your tax obligations as a new taxpayer (Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident).

General Information on Individual Income Tax

Income earned in Singapore is chargeable to income tax. Know what is taxable, what is not

Generally, overseas income received in Singapore on or after 1 Jan 2004 is not taxable. However, in some circumstances, it is taxable. Find out more.
