The e-Submission of Employment Income is a web-based e-Service hosted by IRAS for employers to submit information in Form IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A and Appendix 8B electronically to IRAS.
You can authorise staff or third parties to send in the employees’ employment income details on your behalf through e-Services Authorisation System (EASY). After authorisation has been given, access the e-Submission of Employment Income via myTax Portal.

| Validation and Submission Application |
Use a payroll software developed internally or purchased from payroll vendors that supports file specifications defined by IRAS.

- Supporting payroll software can generate a file containing income information in XML or TXT file format which conforms to the specifications defined by IRAS
- This application validates the file format and data generated by the payroll software.
- Invalid data will be flagged out for your rectification before transmitting to IRAS at myTax Portal.

- You can enter the employees' detail directly or copy the information from your excel spreadsheet onto the application template and save the information.
- The application will generate a file in XML format for submission at myTax Portal.

- The application resides in myTax Portal. You can enter the employees' details directly to the template provided.
- This application supports up to 200 online records per file.
- Internet connection is required throughout the whole process of preparation and filing.

Authorising your staff or a third party to submit the employment income information
If you have decided to use the e-Submission of Employment Income applications to submit the income information, authorisation to access this e-Service is required.

| What do you need to complete the authorisation? |
- Organisation's Unique Entity Number (UEN)
- SingPass/ IRAS PIN of the person doing the authorisation
- Organisation's e-Service Access Code
- NRIC/ FIN of the staff or UEN of the third party who will be preparing and/or submitting the information via e-Submission of Employment income

| What is e-Service Access Code? |
- The e-Services Access Code is a unique password issued to your organisation to authorise staff/ third parties via e-Services Authorisation System (EASY) for them to access government e-Services on behalf of your organisation.
- If your organisation does not have an e-Services Access Code, download the Access Code Application Form (58KB) and send the completed form to IRAS.
- The form has to be filled up and signed by a person who holds the position of a Manager or higher.
