If you e-Filed your tax return
If you e-Filed previously, you can re-file your tax return.
You can only re-file once. Re-filing must be done within 14 days of your previous submission or before the e-Filing due date, whichever is earlier.
When you re-file, you must include all your income details and expenses/donations/reliefs claims. Once you re-filed successfully, your new submission will override the previous submission.
You may follow the steps below to re-file your tax form:
- Log in to myTax Portal .
- Click on 'e-File Form B/B1' on the left-hand side menu.
- Follow the instructions shown on the screen to re-file.
If you had submitted paper Income Tax Return or unable to refile your tax return via e-Filing
You need to email us or fax to us on 6351 3636 your full name, tax reference number and details of the following amendments (whichever applicable):
- Type and nature of income (e.g. employment salary, bonus, rental income etc.)
- Amount of income (please specify the amount for each type)
- A copy of all relevant documents from your employer if you received a lump sum payment.

- Dependant's date of birth
- Type and amount of parent relief you are claiming
- Amount of each dependant's income in previous year
- Dependant's address in previous year

- Caregiver's name
- Caregiver's residential address
- Caregiver's NRIC/FIN/Passport number
- Confirmation that the caregiver was not carrying on any trade, business, profession, vocation or employment in previous year
- Relationship between caregiver and you
- Name of child being taken care of
- NRIC number of your child

- Your child's name and identification number (if you are claiming qualifying/handicapped/working mother's child relief)

Send us a letter with the following information:
- Name and NRIC number of your child
- Child order of the child you are claiming
- Amount of PTR you are claiming/transferring to your spouse
- Basis of apportionment for sharing this rebate (for first time claim)
- Your and your spouse's full name, NRIC number and signature
