To request a copy of your Notice of Assessment, you may:
For NOAs dated before 6 Jan 2007 or other documents (such as Form IR8A or paper tax forms you submitted in the past years, etc) , you may obtain them by visiting our Taxpayer Services Centre at Revenue House. Our office hours are 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday.
If you are unable to visit us, you may send someone to obtain the documents on your behalf. The person needs to produce your NRIC and an authorisation letter stating the following details:
- Your full name, NRIC number and signature
- The person's full name and NRIC number
- The documents you need (such as tax bill, IR8A etc.)
- The relevant Year of Assessment (YA) you need
Example,YA 2007 refers to tax bill for income earned in year 2006
Fees for document request
You need to pay a search fee and a fee for every document request. You may pay by Nets or Cashcard when you collect your documents.
Search fee
For every search of document that is:
- More than 6 years back $30.00
- Not more than 6 years back $12.00
Fee for each page of document
- Per certified copy $3.00
- Per uncertified copy $0.30
Examples
- For 1 certified copy of tax bill (Notice of Assessment) that is not more than 6 years back, you need to pay $15.00.
- For 2 certified copies of tax bill (Notice of Assessment) that is not more than 6 years back, you will pay $18.00 (provided both notices are obtained in one search).
