What should I do if there is erroneous/omitted record in the file submitted?

Records are omitted from original file submission

Steps:

1. IPC's Administrator to send notification email to  ipcLink@iras.gov.sg and state the reasons for omission.

2. IPC is to prepare the omitted records based on the  file format specified by IRAS, validate and generate the encrypted file using  Offline Validation Program (OVP).

3. Once the file is generated, IPC is to submit the encrypted file (with .don file extension) to IRAS via myTax Portal 

Amendment of records due to cancellation, incorrect donation details

Steps:

IPC's Administrator may send an email to ipclink@iras.gov.sg with the following details. For erroneous records, to state clearly the donation details that need to be amended.

1. Donor's Tax Reference Number (NRIC/FIN/UEN)

2. Full name of the donor

3. Address (if available)

4. Amount and date of donation

5. Type of donation

6. Receipt No (if available)

7. Reason for omission/amendment


Prior to last calendar year

Records are omitted from original file submission or amendment of records due to cancellation, incorrect donation details
