Besides financial assistance, IRAS scholars receive guidance and support through mentorship and buddy programmes and are provided with the opportunities to sharpen and demonstrate their leadership and technical skills. Prerequisites
We are seeking individuals with
- Outstanding GCE 'A' level results, polytechnic results or equivalent (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB), NUS High School Diploma)
- Excellent university results (for mid-term scholarships only)
- Outstanding co-curricular records and leadership qualities
Applicants should be Singapore citizens or premanent residents intending to take up citizenship.
Those currently serving NS are also eligible to apply.

IRAS will partially sponsor you the amount (computed based on accommodation, maintenance allowance, tuition fees) for a similar local undergraduate programme.

After being awarded the IRAS mid-term scholarship, IRAS will pay the remaining expenses incurred for your undergraduate studies, Upon graduation when you commence work in IRAS, you will receive a lump-sum payment (for allowances, tuition, compulsory fees etc that you had paid prior to the IRAS mid-term scholarship award).

How to Apply?
Applications are open from the release of 'A' level results to end March each year. Find out more on IRAS undergraduate scholarships and apply online .
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Successful candidates who are awarded the IRAS Undergraduate Scholarship will have to apply to the respective universities on their own for admission.
