e-Services

For some of the e-Services listed below, you may need to log in to myTax.iras.gov.sg  using your SingPass .

 e-Valuation List

For members of public who would like to find out the annual value of a specific property. You can enquire the current year annual value and the name (s) of owner (s) of property.

A fee of $2.50 (inclusive of GST) will be charged for each successful enquiry. Cashcard payment is only applicable at Taxpayer Service Centre. Credit cards payment is available between Mon to Sat, from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. (SGT) and on Sun, from 8.30 a.m. to 2 a.m. (SGT).

You do not need to log in to myTax.iras.gov.sg.

 Notify Lettings /Rental Changes/ Changes to the Property

For all property owners who have let out their properties. This service allows you to submit the Owner’s Return if you have not stamped your lease or tenancy agreement.  You have to notify IRAS in writing within 15 days from the day:
(a) You rent out the property; or
(b) You increase the rent of the property

3) Your organisation tax reference number (For corporate property owners only)

4) Your property address or property tax reference number

5) Your tenancy details

Submission:
30 minutes

Processing:
Once the Owner's Return has been submitted successfully, we would update our records accordingly. You may wish to keep a copy of the Acknowledgement Page for your own reference.

 File Objection to Annual Value

For all property owners who would like a review of the annual value(s) of their properties. This service allows you to file an objection to the annual value and/or effective date of assessment of your property. You may formally lodge an objection at any time of the year or within 30 days upon receiving the Chief Assessor’s notice to amend the annual value of your property. You will need to show evidence that the annual value is excessive.

 Note: If you are living in your own house, and would like to apply for owner-occupier tax rates, please do not file an objection.

5) Your valuation notice number (if applicable)

Most objections are reviewed within 6 months from the date of submission.

 View Account Summary and Payment Services For all individual taxpayers to do the following:
1. View tax account details (tax balance)
2. Request a statement of account
3. Apply for GIRO
4. Pay property tax via Internet Banking

Apply GIRO e-service:
Internet banking account login, password and mobile phone or token if you are applying GIRO online.

Make payment via Internet Banking e-service:
Internet banking account login, password and mobile phone or token if you are making payment online.

Processing:
Request for Statement of Account: We will send you the Statement of Account within 5 working days.

GIRO application: We will send you a notice on your GIRO application status within 14 days.

Internet payment: We will update your account within 3 working days once payment is received.

  View Correspondence / Notices

For all property owners to view your correspondence and notices from IRAS online. The documents are organised by categories i.e. letters/notices and acknowledgment for your easy retrieval.

  View My Property Portfolio/ Change Mailing Address

 

 For all property owners to have an overview of all your property(s). You will be able to view the Annual Value, tax rate, tax account balance and property tax reliefs of the property(s), currently owned by you. You also can change the mailing address for your Property Tax Related correspondence using the feature "Change Mailing Address". 1) Your tax reference number (i.e. NRIC / FIN number)

2. Residential Properties (HDB Flats, Condominiums, Apartments, Bungalows...)

 Apply for Owner-Occupier Tax Rates

For all individual property owners who live in their own residential properties. This service allows you to submit a claim for owner-occupier tax rates.

Note: If you own and live in more than one house, you can only apply for the owner-occupier tax rates for only one property. This concession does not apply to corporate property owners.

4) Date of your occupancy

Processing:
Most claims will be processed within a month.

  e-Notice of Transfer For authorised lawyers/law firm clerks who need to file Notice of Transfer. This service helps you to maintain e-Notice of Transfer information and submit completed e-Notice of Transfer information to IRAS. 1) Your tax reference number (i.e. NRIC / FIN number)

 FAQs

 Integrated Legal Requisition System (InteReq) For law firms which need to obtain property information on behalf of their clients. This service allows law firms which subscribe to the InteReq service to obtain the following information at a fee of $47 for each property enquiry:
  • Name of property owner (as shown in the Valuation List)
  • Annual Value
  • Any outstanding property tax on the property
     
 Search for Licensed Appraisers For members of the public who would like to obtain details of a specific licensed appraiser. This service provides the following information relating to Licensed Appraisers:
  • Licensed ID
  • Name of Appraiser
  • Description
