e-File Individual Income Tax Form (B1/B) 

For tax resident individuals (e.g. self-employed/salaried employees) to file Income Tax Returns online.

If you are selected to benefit from No-Filing Service (NFS), you may not need to e-File your tax return. Find out more about NFS.

1) Your tax reference number (i.e. NRIC / FIN number).

2) Your SingPass or IRAS PIN.

3) Form IR8A (if your employer is not participating in the Auto-Inclusion scheme for Employment Income).

4) Particulars of your dependants (e.g. child, parent) for new relief claims only.

5) Details of gross rent and tax deductible expenses incurred on tenanted properties and other income, if any.

6) Business Registration Number/Partnership Tax Reference Number, if applicable (for self-employed and partners only).

Submission:
This electronic tax form may take you 5 - 10 minutes to complete. Your session will timeout if you leave it idle for more than 20 minutes and you have to log in to the portal again.

Processing:
We issue Notices of Assessment or tax bills in batches. Some taxpayers may receive their Notice of Assessment earlier than others. Most taxpayers should receive their Notices of Assessment by September of the year.

Transfer of Parenthood Tax Rebate (PTR) For tax resident individuals (e.g. self-employed/salaried employees) to transfer the balance from your Parenthood Tax Rebate account to your spouse’s account.

View Account Summary/Payments For all individual taxpayers to do the following:

Apply GIRO e-service:
Internet banking account login, password and mobile phone or token if you are applying GIRO online.

Processing:
Request for Statement of Account: We will send you the Statement of Account within 5 working days.

GIRO application: We will send you a notice on your GIRO application status within 14 days.

Internet payment: We will update your account within 3 working days once payment is received.

For individual taxpayers to view and submit overdue income tax returns and settle fees imposed for late/non-filing of income tax returns.

1) Your tax reference number (i.e. NRIC/FIN number).

3) Form IR8A (if your employer is not participating in the Auto-Inclusion scheme for Employment Income).

View Correspondence /Notices

For all individuals taxpayers to view your correspondence and notices from IRAS online. The documents are organised by categories i.e. letters/notices and acknowledgement/confirmation for your easy retrieval.

Update Contact Details & Subscribe to Alerts

For all individual taxpayers and partnerships to view and update contact details and subscribe for alerts through SMS notification on e-NOA (electronic copy of Individual Income Tax bill) availability.

For all non-NRIC individuals to update change of address.

1) Your tax reference number (i.e. NRIC / FIN number)

2) Your SingPass or IRAS PIN

3) Your organisation tax reference number (For partnerships only)

Submission:
5 minutes

Processing:
Generally, the changes made will be updated immediately except for change of address which will be processed within 3 working days.

View Employment Income Record

For employees whose employers are in the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) for Employment Income.

It allows you to check whether your employer has transmitted your employment income details to IRAS.
