Full control over GIRO with IRAS' e-Services

  1. You can adjust or cancel your GIRO plan just by calling IRAS on 1800 356 8300
  2. You can also view your GIRO plan and tax balance, simply by logging in to myTax Portal.
    a) To view your instalment plan
    Select "Payments" > View GIRO Plan
    b) To view your tax balance
    Select "View Account Summary". Your GIRO payment will be posted into the tax account within three working days after the deduction date.

Ways to Sign Up for GIRO

  • Online GIRO application via Internet Banking (for DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB customers)
  • Online GIRO application at AXS stations (for DBS/POSB customers)
  • Use GIRO form on the Payment Slip sent with your Notice of Assessment (for DBS/POSB, HSBC, OCBC and UOB customers)
  • Download GIRO application form and send the completed form to us

Electronic Payment Modes

Cash/ NETS

Make Cash/ NETS payment over the counter at any Singapore Post Branch.

Cheque/ Cashier's Order

Pay with Cheque/ Cashier's Order from any bank in Singapore. Please attach the Payment Slip with your cheque payment and write the Tax Reference No. at the back of your cheque so that payment can be updated to the tax account.

Credit Card

Some banks or credit card companies offer options to pay tax via credit card. Please approach your bank or credit card company for the option.

Telegraphic Transfer

Telegraphic Transfer is only for payments from overseas and the payment modes listed above are not applicable.
