Vishing – Beware of scam phone calls
If you receive phone calls or voice mails impersonating IRAS, beware. Do not reveal your personal information to the caller. Hang up at once!
Vishing attacks are scam calls pretending to be from a legitimate company to solicit personal information from you such as user name, password, account number or other personal information. Scammers use this confidential information to carry out identity fraud.
What’s legit from IRAS?
- Telephone calls will not begin with prefix “+65” as these are international calls likely from scammers
