Check Status of GST Return

If your GST return has been successfully sent to IRAS, you should see an acknowledgement page after clicking on the “Submit” button. The acknowledgement page contains a summary of the figures you submitted and instructions on how you can make payment if you have tax payable.

View GST Filing Status

You can view the status of your current and past 2 years’ GST returns via myTax Portal.

  1. Log in to myTax Portal. You must have been authorised for GST matters via the e-Service Authorisation System (EASY).
  2. At “GST”, select “View GST Filing Status” and enter the accounting period you wish to view.

The status of your GST return(s) will be displayed.

  • If the status shows "REQUIRED TO FILE ", you may click on the “E-FILE” button to retrieve the return.
  • If the status shows “PROCESSED”, your return has been successfully submitted to IRAS.

  • What information will I need to log in to myTax Portal?

    1. Your personal tax reference number (NRIC/FIN/ASGD/ITR).
    2. Your personal SingPass or IRAS PIN. You may reset/request for a new SingPass or IRAS PIN online.

    4. Your client's tax reference number (e.g. UEN and GSTN) if you logging in to myTax Portal on behalf of your client.
  • I managed to log into myTax Portal successfully. Why am I unable to find the "Goods & Services Tax" list of e-services on the left hand menu?

You should ensure that you are authorised for your organisation's GST matters at e-Service Authorisation System (EASY) and you have selected "My Organisation's/Business' Tax Matters" at myTax Portal login page.
