Old Valuation Fees (From 23 Dec 2013 to 30 Jun2016)

A valuation fee is payable according to the Fifth Schedule of the Stamp Duties Act (Cap 312).

Valuation Fees

 

Subject-matter of Instrument 

Fee (From 23 Dec 2013         to 30 Jun 2016) 

    1.    Any immovable property that is sold under Part IV of the Housing and Development Act (Cap. 129)$36

    2.    Any other immovable property where there is no difference between the certified value under section 37(3) and the value on which, in the applicant's opinion of market value of the immovable property as at date of document

    3.    Any other immovable property where there is a difference

 

           (a)  On the first $10,000 of the difference between the certified value under section 37(3) and the value on which, in the opinion of the applicant for adjudication, the duty was chargeable

 

           (b)  On the next $90,000 of such difference

 

           (c)  On the excess where the difference is in excess of $100,000
