Our Work-Life programmes and activities cater to diverse groups of staff and differing health, social, family and developmental needs.

The Inland Revenue Recreation Club (IRRC), championed by our senior management, comprises 5 committees.  We regularly organise recreational, social and sporting activities to keep you plugged into the latest health-related initiatives.

Social Committee

"To promote interaction among IRAS staff through recreational and social activities."

Recreational activities and events to bring colleagues from different work functions together, such as:

  • Family Day
  • Dinner and Dance
  • Workshops / Classes (e.g. leather craft, terrarium making, chocolate appreciation, modern calligraphy etc.)

Physical activities to promote healthy lifestyle and involvement in sports teams, such as:

  • ACTIVE Day
  • Revenue Games
  • Dragonboat
  • Basketball

  • Bowling
  • Badminton
  • Ad-hoc classes (e.g. aerobics, yoga)

"To fulfill Corporate Responsibility to community and environment through organizing events for staff participation, and promote spirit of volunteerism and teamwork in IRAS."

Fund-raising activities and outreach programs that make a difference to the needy groups, such as

  • President's Challenge Bazaar
  • Blood Donation Drives
  • Local and overseas community involvement program (i.e. Water for Life Project, visits to Old Folks Home)

"To provide good welfare for staff and to show appreciation with appropriate gifts for newborn, marriage, hospitalization and condolence."

Lunch time talks on health-related or financial matters and festive bazaars to provide one-stop shopping convenience for our staff.
