Need help to e-File?

Check if you need to file for Year of Assessment 2019 using Ask Jamie.
  • You must file an Income Tax Return if you receive a letter, form or an SMS from IRAS informing you to do so.
  • If you have received a letter or SMS informing you that you have been selected for No-Filing Service (NFS), you are not required to file a tax return.

Login to myTax Portal from 1 Mar 19 to 18 Apr 19 using your SingPass to e-File. 

Foreign individuals who are not eligible for SingPass must register and activate their IRAS Unique Account (IUA) and set up 2FA.

  • Foreign individuals who are not eligible for SingPass must register and activate their IRAS Unique Account (IUA) and set up 2FA. More details can be found here.
  • Once you have either your SingPass or IRAS unique account, you can proceed to log in to myTaxPortal to e-file.

When you come to IRAS, you must bring along:

1. Your NRIC, work permit or employment pass.

2. If you are representing someone for tax filing, you must bring along the Letter of Authority. This includes requests for tax forms.

3, All documents and income details relevant to your filing.


Examples of supporting documents and income details relevant to your filing:

  • IR8A form (from employers who are NOT in the Auto-Inclusion Scheme)
  • Statement of Account (for self-employed, sole proprietors and partners)
  • Name(s), Birth Certificate no./ NRIC of your children for Child Relief Claims
  • Name(s), NRIC of Parents/ Parents-in-laws for Parent/Grandparent Caregiver Relief Claims

Mondays to Friday:   8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturdays: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

      • Last queue ticket will be issued at 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on Saturdays.
      • You are encouraged to use the public transport as there are limited car park lots in Revenue House.
