  • How do employees verify the amounts submitted by the employers?

Employees can verify the employment income information submitted by the employer in myTax Portal from 1 Mar.
  • What should employees do if they declared their employment income and deductions which have already been submitted via the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS)?

If your employees have e-Filed their tax return, they may re-file at myTax Portal (select File Income Tax Return) within 14 days of their previous submission or by 18 Apr, whichever is earlier.

If your employees have received their Income Tax Bill, they may file an objection using 'Objection to Assessment' e-Service at myTax Portal within 30 days from the date of the tax bill.
